Dick Cheney will resign within 3 months for "health reasons", and Michael Steele, black republican who was just defeated for Senate in Maryland, will be assigned Vice President. Steele will then run for president in 2008 as an incumbant vice president, having had a full 18-21 months in full media attention.

The neoconsertive experiments are over. Cheney and co have been SHUT DOWN! Cheney can do nothing now except take up valuable media space for the next two years.

Bush is obviously not a rascist, and Steele would drive a wedge in some liberal voters, who would see a black president as a strong step forward in civil rights, while the right wing would attempt to ride his coat tails to another 4 years of executive powers.

There you go. You heard it here, first, on the YBBS.

I have no doubt that Cheney is on his way out. MSNBC (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15627055/site/newsweek/) even alluded to it today by saying, "Cheney and Rumsfeld are on the outs."

Incidentally... Bush isn't a racist? What was Katrina?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I remember a story, about Bush, during one of the presidential campaigns that said he used to hang a confederate flag on his dorm room wall when he was in college. David Kuo had it right, Bush sees everything as political. He only uses Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice to advance himself politically.

Katrina wasn't about race, it was about economics. Poor people have nothing to offer the politico-corporate class because they have no money to steal. The poor are nothing but an expensive hassle.

The middle class get the attention because they have money...and the politico-corporate class wants it. So, they respond to their needs. The leftover victims of Katrina were poor, so they didn't respond to their needs because they have nothing to gain by doing so (at least economically).

and the Republican National Committe will force Cheney out - they are already at a disadvantage because of the last election, so I don't think they are going to give up the advantage of an incumbant vice-president making a play for pres.
