NORAD Lied, F-15s Arrived Over Manhattan Skies Between 10:09 And 10:10, Not 9:25
(Gold9472: Yesterday, Shoestring wrote an excellent article entitled, "Where Were The F-15s On 9/11? (http://www.911blogger.com/node/8090)" which included new eyewitness accounts of when F-15s arrived over Manhattan. After reading his excellent piece, I remembered that Howard Stern's radio broadcast (http://www.yourbbsucks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6466) from that day mentioned roughly when the F-15s arrived over the skies of Manhattan. The recording verifies that F-15s arrived after the first collapse, and before the second collapse. Then, someone named, "Oilfilter" posted Siegel's footage which shows exactly when the F-15s arrived. The following is the end result of me figuring out exactly (99% certain) what time the F-15s arrived. I'm posting this so people can check my math.)
Watch Siegel's film. Please disregard everything regarding helicopters, etc... and just focus on the footage.

Fighters leave Otis at 8:53.
At 5:56 (9:59), the first tower collapses.
At 15:15 (10:09-10), the F15s arrive.
Page 24 of the 9/11 Report says, "They arrived at 9:25 and established a combat air patrol (CAP) over the city." This according to Otis Fighter Pilots, Daniel Nash, and Timothy Duffy.
It took them 1hr and 17min to arrive in Manhattan, and not 32min.
There is a 45 minute discrepancy.
The questions are... were they ordered to lie? If so, who ordered them to lie? If they were ordered to lie, what are they trying to cover-up? If they weren't ordered to lie, and instead, chose to lie by themselves, why? Or, did those fighter pilots tell the Commission one thing, and the Commission printed another?
Or... were they scrambled later than 8:53? Or... were they ordered to stay in their "holding pattern" longer than originally reported (9:08 to 9:13)?
Damn questions.
Begin Theories
According to Ralph Eberhardt's opening statement (http://www.yourbbsucks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13365) before the 9/11 Commission...
"On the morning of 9/11, we were conducting a NORAD command post exercise and our headquarters and regions were postured for “wartime conditions.” Six minutes prior to the first attack on the World Trade Center, the FAA informed NORAD of the potential hijack of American Airlines Flight 11. As events unfolded throughout the morning, NORAD responded immediately with fighters and appropriate airspace control measures. Unfortunately, due to the constraints of time and distance, we were unable to influence the tragic circumstances."
And according to Richard Myers (http://www.yourbbsucks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7805) during his confirmation hearings...
"LEVIN: And did you take action against -- for instance, there has been statements that the aircraft that crashed in Pennsylvania was shot down. Those stories continue to exist.
MYERS: Mr. Chairman, the armed forces did not shoot down any aircraft. When it became clear what the threat was, we did scramble fighter aircraft, AWACS, radar aircraft and tanker aircraft to begin to establish orbits in case other aircraft showed up in the FAA system that were hijacked. But we never actually had to use force.
LEVIN: Was that order that you just described given before or after the Pentagon was struck? Do you know?
MYERS: That order, to the best of my knowledge, was after the Pentagon was struck."
I bet Myers's original account is right, and they were scrambled later than 8:53, and the pilots were ordered to lie.
Am I crazy?
Would that be enough to refer "the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation" like the 9/11 Commission members debated (http://www.yourbbsucks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11807)?
It certainly sounds nothing like "poor record-keeping (http://www.yourbbsucks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11857)."
The original question remains... "Where Were the F-15s on 9/11?"
Good work Shoestring.
