Like It Was All Part Of The Plan

Have you been paying attention to the Iraq Inquiry currently taking place in Britain? A lot of interesting information has come out that confirms what we all knew.

According to Sir William Patey (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/6643302/Iraq-inquiry-British-officials-heard-drum-beats-of-war-from-US-before-911.html), in February 2001, "the UK knew that some in the new US administration wanted to topple Saddam." This coincides with former Secretary of Treasury Paul O'Neill (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/01/09/60minutes/main592330.shtml) who said, "from the very beginning, there was a conviction, that Saddam Hussein was a bad person and that he needed to go," and that "it was all about finding a way to do it. That was the tone of it. The president saying ‘Go find me a way to do this."

Like Donald Rumsfeld (http://www.historycommons.org/context.jsp?item=a240blameiraq#a240blameiraq), and Michael Ledeen (http://www.historycommons.org/context.jsp?item=a091101ledeenconnect#a091101ledee nconnect), Condoleezza Rice started planning for the Iraq War (http://rawstory.com/2009/11/condi-iraq-911-uk-diplomat/) within hours of the 9/11 attacks. Sir Christopher Meyer, "a former British ambassador to the United States says then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice talked to him about Iraq and Saddam Hussein hours after the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001." Also, "George Bush tried to make a connection (http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/nov/30/chilcott-inquiry-bush-blair-alqaida) between Iraq and al-Qaida in a conversation with Tony Blair three days after the 9/11 attacks, according to Blair's foreign policy adviser of the time."

They came into office wanting to go to war with Iraq. The very first thing on the agenda was figuring out a way to go to war with Iraq. Within hours of the 9/11 attacks, the very first thing members of the Bush Administration did was start planning for war with Iraq.

Like it was all part of the plan.

Bush actually started planning to invade Iraq in 1999 (http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2004/01/11/bush_began_iraq_plan_pre_911_oneill_says/), when he was just candidate Bush.

I would add to this speculation the fact that the invasion of Afghanistan was planned in the summer of 2001 (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/1550366.stm).

Also, ten days after 9/11, General Wesley Clark saw plans to invade 7 countries in 5 years (http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/node/19200).

Now, how can ANYONE think that ALL OF THIS has NOTHING to do with 9/11, that 9/11 was just a happy coincidence for the neocons?
