FORTY foreign military officers from 24 countries watched the biggest Chinese military exercise open to foreigners Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
Airborne and armored forces of more than 16,000 soldiers participated in the exercise codenamed "North Sword 2005" at the Zhurihe training base in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Foreign military observers, including those from the United States, Britain, France, Brazil and Israel, witnessed the processes of the game and they were not limited to an observation platform.
