Theologian discusses 9/11

MANCHESTER — Professor emeritus David Ray Griffin will speak on "The Truth Behind 9/11 and American Empire: A Christian Theologian Speaks Out," at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Burr and Burton Academy's Riley Center.
Griffin is an internationally recognized theologian and author of a number of books, including "The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11," and "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions." He will also co-author "American Empire and A Better Possibility: A Political-Economic-Religious Statement," in 2006.
The event is free and open to the public with donations requested. For more information, call 387-5127.
