MPs tonight rejected proposals for terror suspects to be held for up to 90 days without charge. In a bitter blow to Tony Blair the bill was defeated 322-291.

Below we name and shame the MPs who voted down the bill.

Well, it is an interesting use of the word for more reasons than one. The reason I made the quip about inciting terrorism, I now realise is probably something most of you as united-statesians won't know about (I apologise if you do).

You see, last week (5th November) was the 400th anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot - the first attempted 'terrorist attack' on Britian. And theres been a big bruhaha over here for the anniversary (special docos, articles and shit), and Guy Fawkes (the most famous instigator of the plot) is routinely referred to as a 'traitor'. As it goes, he was - if I remember rightly - hung, drawn and quartered for his sins. I was just wondering if the Sun taught that was a suitable venegance to wreak on the traitor MPs.
